Terms & Conditions

1. Booking and Deposits

  • All client bookings require a £10 deposit paid at the time of booking via the online booking system.
  • The deposit is deducted from the total session cost on the day of treatment.
  • Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled session will result in the deposit being refunded or the session can be rescheduled.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session will result in the deposit being forfeited but no further charge.
  • No-shows without prior notice will be charged 50% of the full session fee.
  • SM Sports Therapy reserves the right to waive cancellation fees at its discretion in exceptional circumstances.

3. Payment Terms

  • Session fees are payable on the day of treatment, in person.
  • Accepted payment methods: cash, debit card, credit card (via SumUp).
  • Monthly package clients will receive a payment request each month via WhatsApp. Payment is due within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and are non-refundable.
  • Loyalty discounts and referral discounts are applied in person at the session. They cannot be applied retrospectively.

4. Pricing

  • Prices are as listed on the website and booking system at the time of booking.
  • SM Sports Therapy reserves the right to update pricing with reasonable notice.

5. Health and Safety

  • Clients are responsible for disclosing all relevant medical conditions, medications and contraindications via the intake form prior to their first session.
  • Failure to disclose relevant health information may affect the safety of treatment and releases SM Sports Therapy from liability for any adverse effects arising from undisclosed conditions.
  • SM Sports Therapy reserves the right to decline treatment or modify treatment at any time if it is deemed unsafe or outside the scope of practice.
  • Clients must be at least 16 years of age. Clients aged 16–17 require written parental or guardian consent prior to treatment.

6. Session Requirements

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring a suitable treatment space is available: a clear floor area of approximately 6ft × 3ft in a private room at a comfortable temperature.
  • Parking must be available within reasonable distance of the treatment location.
  • SM Sports Therapy will arrive with all necessary equipment including a professional treatment bench, oils and hygiene supplies.

7. Liability

  • SM Sports Therapy holds professional indemnity and public liability insurance through FitPro (underwritten by Aviva) with a £10 million limit of indemnity.
  • SM Sports Therapy is not liable for any pre-existing conditions that are aggravated during treatment where full disclosure was not provided.
  • SM Sports Therapy is not liable for any injury or loss arising from failure to follow aftercare advice provided at the close of a session.

8. Data and Privacy

Client data is collected and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By completing the intake form you consent to your data being stored and used for the purpose of providing treatment.
